Over confident businessman Scott Sallow does not want to run an unprofitable island full of giant monsters and nerdy scientists, and he definitely doesn’t want a giant monster hitting on him, but he’s got money to make and an ego to maintain. Needs must.

Roleplaying gamer nerds Ceri and Errol are trapped in Annwn, a fantasy world of Welsh Mythology. They are going to need gold to help them return safely to the real world, but will their years of gaming help them in a world of rapping horse skeletons, superstitious fae and sketchy mushroom men?

What happens when as a teenager you’re given grand destiny, but just kind of miss it? You were The Chosen one, but you just had a lie in? Well, Freya Dunstable, now in her 30s, stumbles through life with barely controlled magical powers, a sentient Live Laugh Love sign and not enough money to pay the rent. The world can save itself.

They’ve been distracted for a century or two, but now their boss, Chief Existence Officer Keith, has forced them to visit Earth in person, to inspire the mortals and prove their worth. It’s that or lose their immortal existence privileges. They’re out of touch, they’re lost and they haven’t got all eternity.
